They are boxing again on the 7th July,

Both looked very good in last fight so this should be a good fight.

How do you all see it going? It seemed very close last time when it was stopped because of mathews busted nose.

I think Rees will be too strong for him, Derry gets caught quite easily and gets smashed up easily, Id go for a Rees late stoppage.

Exactly thats what we want, I dont really want to see Rees v Mathews as main event with VVarren type undercards!

    Quality.

I love it when fighters fight the best, maybe drop a fight but carry on doing so and fortune seems to favour them. Happened to Khan and Froch and now Derry is mixing it up with good guys, he lost one but he got back on top as an underdog and now he gets another big fight.

I used to think Derry was scum cos he was dirty and hid behind the WBU. Now he is the fighter I want to see. Could do with a new nose though.

first fight was shaping up to be a good one before it was stopped, I think Derry will give it a real go and be in the fight for about 5 rounds but I think he'll be getting hit too much and probably get stopped around the ninth round.

Fair play to Derry he has done very well since he came back from the string of KO's and retirement. This will be a difficult fight though, Gavin Rees is very close to world level.

Were you in Gavin's corner for the Mezaache fight Billy?

Rees will dominate and stop Derry in 6 or 7 rounds.

    Rees for me.

Derry did really well to beat Crolla, but Crolla fought like a spaz on the night in all honesty.

I can see Mathews taking a few too many and being pulled around the 8th... probably with a splattered nose.
