Boxing is definitely a business. That's why Marquez won't go near Khan, Rios, or Judah. Marquez and Pacquiao were fated to one another. But the names I mentioned all give him hell and Khan, I think, would beat him soundly.

Rigo has the nastiest body punch in the sport. His KO rate is above 80%- other than Cordoba who he outboxed and dropped, has been sensational in matters of balance, footwork and power. What else you want?
I never ruled Mares out, who is among Alvarez and Garcia the best mexicans i can see coming out for the future.Mares has plenty of skills and average power, i appreciate more a boxer like him than a brawler like Rios.
Everything i ask is: get in the ring.

Rios would take Marquez into deep waters. Marquez would win, probably by stoppage, but it would be a grueling fight. Styles, my friend. Rios would wipe the floor with Katsidis, but Marquez was dropped, hurt, and had to dig deep to beat Katsidis.

Khan - yes he would give him trouble. He is taller, faster and younger. I do not rule out a JMM victory but this just spells trouble for JMM. Honestly though JMM has a decent shot at beating him based on Khans chin and faulty defense.

Rios - No. No way in hell does Rios have a shot here. Too open and the best possible style for JMM. It would be like the first 4 rounds of Acosta-Rios except JMM does not let you off the hook when you are hurt.

Judah - Nope. He can give him a bit of problems for 4 rounds but once JMM starts timing him and taking Judahs soul away he will break down and JMM will take him out. Judah does not beat elite fighters people!

Dig deep? He won almost every round and the round he got dropped he came back and nearly stole it.

Then you explain to me why Marquez has completely ignored Khan, Guerrero, and Rios. Well, he didn't ignore Rios, he said he wouldn't fight Rios because Rios doesn't make weight, which is ****ing stupid because they'd fight at 140 and then the weight would be a non-issue. Marquez doesn't want a fight with those three guys because they're high risk and can block a Pac fight. ****, he won't even go nowhere near Morales when that fight would be MASSIVE and highly lucrative. But Marquez happily fought Ramos and Fedchenko. Why? Low to zero risk.

You are correct his balance, footwork and power(in his left hand) is great. The thing I like about him the most is his footwork. People in boxing seem to focus on the upper body but to me footwork makes the difference just as much if not more.

I am starting to doubt him more because I never see him use his right hand for more than a range finder. In the top level you need more than one hand.

I want to see him face someone who will pressure him but have decent defense of course. Mares would be great because he can follow a gameplan, has skills, hear and chin and is definitely a 2 handed fighter.

Have you ever seen Rigo use his right hand properly?

Yea he fought tune ups. Actually I believe the Morales fight is set already.

You wanted JMM to fight Rios after the Abril fight? The fight was basically set until Rios got schooled. Then JMM said no because Rios just got beat.
Guerrero really has not done much but I would love to see that as Guerrero is the one guy at LW that I feel can beat JMM.
    Khan we already went over.

From reports JMM will fight Morales in September and then Pac in November. too close in between if you ask me.

That's too close, and Morales can surprise and be competitive. Early August could work.

I like this fight - it only lasts a few minutes (skip to the 3 mark for the first bell) but his footwork and left to the body are absolutely spectacular.

After the Cordoba fight ,Rigo was asked to be more aggressive. His style now uses the right to block and set up the mighty left.He knows the power he carries and is happy to use it as it goes. The more demanding the opponent is the more he will use the right as an offensive weapon.Kennedy is far from elite but he is all about offense.Tailor made for Rigo.Against a smart technichian as Mares Rigo will go more to his old style, but still setting up the left and busting the ribs to get an opening.
Believe me, if i want to see Rigo against Mares or Donaire is because i want to see a competitive and technical fight.

Uh multiple have said that the elbow excuse for the cancelled Herrera fight was likely a cover for Rios once again being unable to make weight. Rios didn't deserve jack **** anyway after the Abril fight.

I give Rigo the edge over Donaire. That fight could be over quickly and at any moment but I see Rigo doing everything better than Donaire. However lately the right hand is what is worrying me.
Mares I see giving Rigo more problems than Donaire just because of the styles. Mares can pressure hard and has the chin to back it up.

I want a tournament set up with Rigo, Moreno, Mares and Donaire.
