Chavez J.r doesn't want to weigh their gloves before fight?

why isnt it a rule to weigh the gloves in texas

 

This is odd. I wonder in how many of his fights this has gone unnoticed. I remember watching the Manfredo fight and thinking Chavez had some serious power at 160 I'd not expected.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are doing what Barrera accused Morales of, taking some of the padding out of his gloves while forcing the other guy to wear more pillowed gloves.

Chavez's career and his collusion with the WBC to protect his title is very unnerving. I believe they already allow him to use PEDs or diuretics with the drug testing fiasco of the last fight. Now there is this glove thing.. :-(

 

Chavez Jr has improved noticebly his physical condition lately. He used to be kind of flabby and unathletic.

Even if there isn't a rule about gloves being weigh-in, why not do it? Why would you refuse it if your conscience is clear?

If Roach is a dirty **** then Jr should be smarter about the company he keeps. If not directly, then indirectly, Jr has been tainted with the accusations of guilt and wrongdoing.

as a fighter, he did what he had to do since he was just surrounded by yes men in his other camp...

it is for a title fight at 160 gloves must be 10 ounces Lee has a right to make sure that the rules are being followed I am sorry but this looks very bad on Chavez and on Roach and on Texas

if they dont weigh the gloves I wouldnt let my fighter fight simple as that and I would tell the world why once it hit the news

 

Lee put forth his gloves for weighing, like a true sportsman, Freddie Roach refused.

This fight is tainted any way you slice it brother. Texas is the worst place to fight, this fight would probably be more fair in Mexico than in Texas, and still Chavez keeps headlining there, coincidence??

Manny should not let Lee fight, Lee is a fighter who probably just wants to fight for the title... he's got heart.

But a line must be drawn, Manny should do the right thing.
