Dont know why Adamek made the move but i do like the way the extra weight looks on him.

He sure isnt doing what Hoya did against Sturm and just put on fat.That extra weight looks like muscle.

 

Muscle can slow you down, too. :think (see: Marquez against Mayweather)

 

Tomek is lifting weights too, which can be very counterproductive if too heavy.

Chambers is very fast, Tomek might find himself in serious trouble.

People might be surprised about Chambers physical strength too, he was pretty much carrying Wladimir around the ring for the majority of their fight.

Whilst he's lighter, I think there's a good chance he's stronger in a sense. Tomek has had stamina issues in the past and weight has proven to be problematic for his recuperative abilities.

I am actually picking Chambers by stoppage or pretty dominant decision.

Should be a good one though, looking forward to it.

 

Am I thinking of a different Wlad challenger, or was it Eddie who essentially bodyslammed him? (and didn't take anywhere near as much **** for it as Dawson in the Hopkins NC...although Wlad is a super-fit brick house and not a brittle old man like Bernard so the consequences were nil...)

It really depends on how much ring rust Chambers has accumulated in the past 14 months. If Chambers fights as well as he did against Dimitrenko I'm fairly sure he'll win. Tbf, it's been clearly his best performance in his career and he hasn't come close to that at any point prior or after that fight.

Adamek's been somewhat busy lately albeit against poor opposition. It's quite obvious what to expect from him.
