Pacquiao still better than anyone PBF has ever faced. Agree?

That does not matter, your personal issues when you sign a contract go out the door, you are a professional and are expected to do what ever it takes to prepare yourself Physically and Mentally going into a prize fight.

    No excuses

Disagree. The Castillo from the first Mayweather fight was better. The De La Hoya that Mayweather fought was better. Corrales that Mayweather fought would have beaten the 130 pound Pacquaio. Marquez is also better than Pac.

Castillo maybe, he was prime, had the style to trouble Floyd. Pacquiao even faded as he is physically is still a better fighter, is more dangerous with his power/speed combination

    But not

Judah, lol, the mental midget with not very good boxing IQ and a history of bottling it at the slightest bit of adversity, coming off a loss to Baldomir, looked shot to me vs Pineda 2 years earlier, went on to get stopped by every top fighter he fought since Floyd..sure

Cotto, who Floyd's fans loved to called overrated and overhyped for his 154 resume, and also labelled as ruined before he fought Pacquiao..(changing opinions after Floyd fought him and struggled abit to prop up Floyd's win doesn't erase what was said beforehand)...Cotto was still good and tough, but also very faded physically from his prime, and he wasn't as fast or as good as Pac still is, nor as durable, didn't have as much power

And Corrales, who was either out of his depth at that level, or completely weight drained (which some were saying back then Mayweather destroys a drained Corrales), come on now..Corrales also was very chinny, went down many times in his career, had a weakness against left hooks which Floyd exploited in the fight, and many opponents did after

A lot of the Pacquiao followers really weren't following back then so they have no idea really and shouldn't comment. Stevie Johnston is arguably just a good a boxer as Marquez at lightweight and Castillo beat him twice.

Floyd IS a better boxer than Marquez, and Castillo basically fought him to a draw.

Corrales is very overrated as a fighter, probably because he was exciting and, I don't mean to be tasteless, but he died early. It has left people with an exaggerated opinion of him. Corrales is one of my favourite fighters of all time but he is massively overrated on this forum.

Won the jr. lightweight title from undefeated Garcia, beat prime Casamayor, beat undefeated prime Freitas, beat Gainer, beat Manfredy, beat prime Castillo in the fight of the decade.

He deserves any high rating he gets.

:patschlol the *****'s trying to state JMM? if JMM ever beat Pac, then Cotto beat Roidweather.

Jmm was outclassed in 3 fights, 1 stupid judge even admitted he scored the card wrong and Pac's ''draw'' against Marqueerz should have been another win.:dead

Roidweather took a 2 year break to roid up:tired, he then cheated with weight and took on an unmotivated bloated visually fat Marqueerz who didn't even try:tired. The Marqueerz that lost a fairly close fight to Pac was clearly both roided and highly motivated:deal, Pac just beat him at his own game.:deal

Mayweather will never face a live fighter because he lost to Castillo and ODLH who wasn't even live. Pac is in decline, but, he would still batter anyone Roidweather fought in his career. :deal

The question was is Pac better than anybody Floyd has ever faced. If are are talking about when Floyd faced whatever opponent, then the answer is no. Floyd has faced several opponents, who were better than Pacman. We aren't talking about now. We, rather I at least, am talking about the version of the said opponent that Floyd faced.

The Pacman in the last 3 of his fights would clearly lose to Floyd. From my opinion though, he's lost that hunger as he, as well as we know the last 3 fights should have been sure wins, thus making him too comfortable. If he ever fights Floyd, I "think" that hunger in him will return. He knows how big that fight would be and his focus would be back in the ring. His focus right now is not in boxing. Forget the Bradley fight, it's obvious he didn't really care about that fight, evident of his reactions from the results. He's not even asking for a rematch.

He has a good record but he was a flawed fighter. I'm not going to dissect his record because, like I said, I was a fan of his, but he really wasn't the great fighter he's made out to be by some.
