people overrate technical skills a little too much and underrate natural ability.

It won't take slippage. Martinez's style banks on him being able to invite you in with his low hands and ward you off with his fast jab and straight left. If he can't put you where he wants you with his punches, he's ****ed.

his style is to make it a struggle.

fighters will look good against him early.

jr. will look slow , uncoordinated and sloppy.

but he'll keep coming , keep pushing you back , keep throwing to the body.

next thing you know the opponent is exhausted , his punches no longer have effect and he's getting beat up.
