Doubt it. If he had 2 arms he would try to engage more and would not be as much concentrated on defence allowing superior Adamek to counter him.
he should of been on the backfoot all night, instead of trying to come forward at times, countering Chambers at will, then there wouldn't be any doubts by some as to who won but I think he still won comfortably enough, contrary to what some of Adamek's haters and the commentators of NBC thought :deal
I didn't score it, but i have no problem with Adamek getting the decision. He was a bit lucky he had a one-armed man in front of him. You can't fight without your lead hand, cuz automatically you are losing the chance to jab and set stuff up.
Adamek 116-112, although I think everyone knows that Two-Armed, Motivated Chambers would've beat Adamek comfortably.
Just done watchin the fight. **** me Adamek was poor - I didn't actually score the fight so can't comment properly on who I had winning, but I was not impressed with Tomasz. He was lucky to have a one armed man in front of him else I don't think he'd have got a look in. He was as sloppy and slow as a drunk in a bar fight. And people used to say this clown beats David Haye :rofl.
Poles don't say that, only few those here on this forum on polish boxing sites people are ashamed of Adamek poor performance actually almost everyone believe Adamek is getting worse and worse since Roger stared training him making more weight was completely bad decision, Adamek lost his speed, didn't get power, good balance nor footwork never used to had it was extremely luck decision only due to chambers injury but the worst is that Adamek said after the fight that he hadn't realized that chambers had an injury almost the whole fight if it's TRUE it shows how poor Adamek corner is if they hadn't seen that and didn't said it to Adamek
NO. Blocked punches count in favour of the recipient. Defence is still scored. Scoring punches that land on an opponents gloves or are parried for the fighter throwing is not in the rules of boxing. If you score like that you are affectively making up the rules in your head.
I had Adamek nicking it by a round. Not much in it though. Every round was very tight and I thought neither man totally dominated any one particular round so I suppose that leaves a lot of interpolation of how the fight went.
It frightens me how much grown men are willing to lie and twist in order to defend another grown man on an internet forum.
Im as Unbiased towards both fighters. I had it a draw. 114-114 I thought Chambers won 1,2,3,4,7,8 Adamek 5,6,9,10,11,12 I felt they both were very bad. But the judge that gave the fight 119-109 needs to be out of the sport. The fight was very close i thought. A lot of close rounds. But like someone said fighters should not get rewarded for output like most fighters are these days especially when they only connect 15%. Pac vs JMM was done this way Bradley vs Pac was done this way Now Adamek vs Chambers. Instead of scoring shots being rewards output is. Which is killing the sport
Bit harsh don't you think? The guy does enough to win over top 20 guys, and now 2 wins over top 10 guys. He's doing well because its a **** division and he's a good trainer. I wanna see him get his ass back down to cruiserweight and take on Huck or Hernandez.
There goes all my v-cash. Chambers injury made it a close fight, which I thought he narrowly took. I just didn't like Adamek's sloppy work.
