To be honest it seems like BJ Flores was watching a different fight for the first few rounds. Chambers won the first round but then he didn't use the left. He's skilled and fast enough that he could get away with it, but landing less punches no matter how accurate rarely wins you the round.

I don't know why Adamek didn't realize the injury was there when Chambers was switching to southpaw & jabbing with the right hand. Adamek should've been able to throw right hands & land more often but he didn't. I mean he musta noticed that Eddie wasn't throwing the left at all..........:huh

Still, not a true robbery but a decision I don't agree with. Chambers would've won in a landslide if he didn't injure the arm.

If this fight propels Adamek to a fight against Wladimir he's as good as knocked the **** out.

Good point. However if EC truly hurt one of his arms, I'd expect that TA would have performed better.

Btw, I was wondering why Flores comments were so biased. Other fans have brought up that he might be envious of TA's success at CW and above. Meanwhile Flores seems to be keeping his career options open :D

Flores turned down a title shot against Adamek.

There has to be some bias there.

Look at all these people who can't score a boxing fight on their own. Biased commentary is too much for you guys to handle. Even Chambers and his corner said the fight was close.

    I gave Adamek 1,3,6,7,9,11,12.

    I gave Chambers 2,4,5,8,10

I think 5,6,7,8,9 and 12 were really close.

I was watching this on a pretty poor upload and am starting to worry it was so bad that I couldn't see what was going on now on account of you guys and what you are saying.

Anyone got anything from ringside reporters yet? What did the local press say?

    Eddie had it close.

    Adamek had it close.

The only mystery here is 1 judge and the usual hoard of Pole haters.

IB had it 119-109 Chambers....just as ******ed as the judge who had it the same way for Adamek.

"I was unsure about the decision and if you’re unsure, you can’t say you won clear cut," Chambers said. "I don’t like to sound brash, but I would have won if I didn’t get hurt. I worked so hard to get ready for this fight and I was in the best shape of my life."

    - Eddie Chambers.

Nothing in the Boston Herald about it being a dodgy decision at all:

    Straight from Chambers twitter:

Boxed with one arm.. Hometown decision.. Blind judges.. Something I can't control.. Thanks for sticking with me ill be back!!

As much as I hate to say it because I was robbed... Adamek was the easiest opponent I had in years!..

Simply throwing punches does not win you fights.

He was putting them combos in thin air.

So our boxers should just start shadowboxing.

Fair enough. He's now said at the final bell that he wasn't sure, and presumably after watching it that he was robbed.

But that's the crux of the thing. What I'm saying is, a fight can look one way on the television and another way ringside. The reason Chambers "wasn't sure" at the fight was that nobody around him thought it was a robbery, including his own corner. Sees it on film, changes his mind. This often happens with fighters who can't punch. Because the affect of the punch is important. The most notable example is Holyfield-Valuev - a stuck on robbery for tv viewers, scored almost exclusively for Valuev by everyone at ringside.

I'm looking. I haven't found someone who may have been ringside that even had it for Eddie yet.
