In 2009/2010, Manny Pacquiao would've stopped Floyd Mayweather.

Why oh why are *******s simply unable to comprehend the concept of a gulf in class? Mayweather doesn't have a **** chin, like Hatton did by the time Pac got to him. Mayweather doesn't come forward in straight lines a la Cotto. Mayweather is not a static clueless idiot like both Clottey and Margarito.

Both Mosley and Marquez made Pac look like a dummy, because they wouldn't conform to the script he needs to look good. Even Timothy Bradley confused him ffs.

It doesn't bear thinking about how stupid Mayweather would make a fighter of Pacs limitations look, and would have done so at ANY time.

This hypothetical is what Pacquiao fans will hold on to till their dying day; now that they themselves are able to objectively admit that Pacquiao will lose to Mayweather.

 

Pac cannot beat Floyd at any point or any version. Watching all of his fights and his mythical one year prime.... Not to mention getting two gifts with Marquez between 2008-2011 somehow he snaps in and out of prime.. Lmao. The two guys not to be beat decisevly by PAC Floyd is superior. Floyd is superior to pac. He would dominate him. Nobody even gave a **** since the 3rd Marquez fight. Floyd is better and will retire undefeated.

 

i believe the pac that fought cotto would've given the floyd of that same year problems for much of the early going, before being outpointed to a fairly comfortable UD in the latter half of the fight.
but the reality is- no version of pacquiao would beat floyd because floyd is not afraid to 'play it safe' to get the win if he has to. despite his willingness to mix it up in his last few fights, if posed any real danger floyd would just box his way towards a points win.
for the record, the version of pac from his last few fights would get destroyed by mayweather i reckon.

Pacquiao has a better chance against Mayweather now then the Floyd who completely outclassed Marquez.

Mayweather has lost some movement. So Pacquiao who has the same limitations technically he did then as he does now can get to him.

Mayweather in 09 was making Marquez look like a past it fighter moving in cement.

Mayweather 09 beats Pac easier

 

Pacquiao can't now, and never could cut the ring off effectively against an elite boxer. He would get picked off by Mayweather at any point in their careers
