Story of the fight. Eddie landed 18 more punches over the course of 12 rounds. That's below 1.5 more punches per round.Factor in his back hand slaps and you can see why the right man won!
Chambers. But what has that to do with your question in the opening post? Or with the fact that everyone i've read who was actually there, so far, contradicts your point of view directly?
Must be an even shitter time than usual to be a Polish sports fan right now. Football team don't even bother turning up in a game they must win, and Adamek gets made to look like an anaemic drunk against a one armed fighter weighing 20lbs less. At least the plastic poles like PP can go back to being American and watching men in tights and helmets play rugby. The real Poles have to face up to the fact that their football team is a glass hearted embarrassment to the nation and their best fighter is absolute dog ****.
It was close, so a decision in Adamek's favor doesn't make me spit blood. Just bile. That said, Chambers clearly got the event win. If he lost, then he looked better in defeat than Adamek did in victory. Hard to say if a two handed Chambers could embarrass Adamek any more, but he'd definitely beat him more convincingly.
people that were there were in the midst of a rabid polish crowd that would yell anytime adamek swung and missed, hardly the best place to score a fight against the hero. a lot of trustworthy longtime posters who i respect on here have the fight quite one sided for chambers
Lemme bring reason 'n even-handedness to this, Mc: I'm right 'n they're wrong. (how I yearn ta be a king be a king)
Round 11 was a clear round for Chambers, watch it again. I had 4, 5, 6, 8 or 9, & 12 for Adamek. The rest were clear rounds for Chambers in my opinion.
King of your own scorecard is fine. I don't even mind the robbery thing, at first, though I see it as closer than most. But whenever someone screams robbery it's important that we look to the people viewing things from ringside - from the same vantage point as those judges used. They all think it was close, like me, not a robbery, like you. But that side of things isn't over yet. More cards can come to light, more reports and only a handful would be needed to make me personally think again.
