What I'm hear a lot, and I'm not trying to be facetious by this, is Pacquiao basically having to change many things in his game, pre-2009, to be competitive and or win.

  2. Why do you guys keep doing this? Everybody knows Floyd is the better technical fighter, and Pac never does good on paper. There was even a hypothetical match-up where people picked Pac to lose against Barrera...and that was AFTER he beat Barrera

Break it down all you want and give Floyd the hypothetical win, that's typical of you guys. But Floyd saw/sees something in Pac he doesn't want any part of. Just listen to the man for crying out loud.

Been there done that buddy. I have an old account going back to 2007, i've bee analyzing this fight way before you came around here acting smart, and as far I know before bogo was around throwin his view on the subject.

This topic has been beaten to death. Use the search and you'll come up with enough **** to read until your 90. Everybody's made there points, no body knows what would actually happen. It's time has passed , move on dude.

Yep, Mayweather is not a clean fighter, not by any means.

You mention that he needs to occupy Mayweather's mind, which is spot on IMO. If anyone has read my thread on how I'd like Cotto to fight Mayweather, I noted that Cotto needed to double and tripple his jab up. Not really to inflict damage, but to occupy Mayweather's thought process, and stop him from dictating the flow of the action. (Cotto would of needed to do this, stepping side to side and moving laterally.)

Pacquaio is not Cotto. He doesn't possess the timing of the PR native, nor the jab.

He'd need to feint IMO. it's fine to flick the jab out, but then he needs to feint the straight left down the pipe, and move in to his right. The right hook could of been his money punch. To get close, he'd of needed Mayweather distracted, and I don't think he ever had the craft to do that. If you'd of given Pacquaio's foot speed to Juan Manuel Marquez, then we'd of had an intresting fight between him and Mayweather.

I'm not even sure that would work, as the 09 Mayweather had his legs, and brilliant educated footwork. No wasted movement, but enough gile and subtlety to lure the opponent to exactly where they didn't want to be.

Acting smart? Look at how people talk about you

I put myself on the line and break fights down. If I was bad at it, then I'd of been found out, and not taken seriously by now. Pretty much the equivelent of you :blood

    :good

I must say I have gained a new level of respect after reading this. There's no point arguing with someone who won't accept no for an answer. It's one thing to be strongly opinionated about your argument, but not accepting other outcomes, or more importantly, other's opinions means the argument will just go on a circle no matter how kong it lasts for. Although I strongly believe that Mayweather will win, I'm certainly open to the fact that it could go the comoplete opposite way, and it's a shame more ESBers don't feel the same.

I'm giving the platform, for those who think Pacquaio could of won, to make their case.

I've got my own thoughts on how Pacquaio could of suceeded, a few are posted above.

Your opinion with no facts to back it up. Brilliant. At least proves his point wrong by developing your opinion with sources and facts, because your post was about as useful as a kettle in the desert.

The timeline for the negotiations that took place for the proposed 2010 fight are common knowledge and on the web for all to see. Just stop ****ing up this thread with your bs. Thank you, come again. :hi:

I realise that but there's no need to be a dick about it. You have no evidence of him following exactly what Bogotazo posts, which you implied in a post earlier, so why mention it if your not going to back it up, which is pretty much what this thread is all about in a sense. That relates to mayweather against pac in 09 of course.

:|:|:| Wah Wah Wah. It seems that your one of the douchebags that linger around in threads adding no relevant posts to the discussion but shoot down others opinions with the hope that SJS19 will be able to counter the argument for you. I'm aware I could be wrong, so I'd like to see you prove it, I have my doubts whether you will or not though.

Feel free to search his posts. BBallChump will link you directly to the following thoughts of Gander :

    Mayweather can't adjust
    Mayweather can't jab
    Mayweather can't throw combinations
    Mayweather can't body punch
    Etc.

Now, search for any of his tactical break downs. (You will find two if you're lucky.) This is a man who knows nothing of foot movements, nor feints or the art of deception, the value of a jab. He has no thought or consideration for the emotions felt like a Boxer, such as pride, fear, hunger nor the narcessistic need to feed ones ego. Search his posts and gauge his level of understanding. Then look at Bogo's. Then see the occasional Tasco post which breaks this fight down, and draw the out of place similarities between the two.

You live in the UK, you know what time it is. If you can be bothered to do that then you're a better bloke than me.
