May - Pac Wlad - Vitali Cotto - Canelo Canelo - Chavez Nonito - Rigondeaux Tried not to repeat floyd/pac coz that would be too obvious
1. Ask Captain Obvious 2. Chavez Jr. vs Martinez 3. Floyd vs canelo 4. Bradley vs Khan 5. Cotto vs Canelo Honorable mention: Marquez vs Rios, any fight that involves PAC and Floyd.
1. Any Mayweather fight. 2. Any Mayweather fight. 3. Any Mayweather fight. 4. Any Pacquiao fight. 5. Any Pacquiao fight.
If Khan was able to get a few more decent wins, I think Mayweather-Khan would do big numbers. Also, if Pavlik continues his winning streak with some big ko's, I'd love to see him fight Chavez Jr. or Froch
mayweather-pacquiao mayweather-alvarez pacquiao-alvarez mayweather-cotto 2 alvarez-cotto financially those are probably the biggest. I know I didn't choose from a huge pool, but those are boxing's cash cows. JCC Jr can probably squeeze in there somewhere, maybe.
Let's all admit it, we need the big names back in the sport. List of boxing's biggest stars who recently either retired, died, or are not at the top of their game 1. De La Hoya 2. Jones Jr. 3. Calzaghe 4 Vargas 5. Mosley 6. Trinidad 7. Tyson 8. Holyfield (I know he still fights but.... come on) 9. Hatton 10. Gatti 11. Corrales 12. Barrera 13. Wright 14. Hopkins 15. Taylor 16. Lacy What happened?
I'm not saying he was legendary, however, he did create excitement in the sport for a while and thats what I want to see.
I agree, but I wouldnt describe him as one of boxing's "biggest stars." lewis deserves the nod over him, as turbotime alluded.
Top 5 PPV Fights? What does that mean exactly? I'm assuming you mean revenue... otherwise just ask what the top 5 fights would be... If you mean revenue... Nonito vs. Rigondeaux, Broner vs. Gamboa and all these other fights people are listing wouldn't make the big bucks. They would only please true boxing fans but they wouldn't have mass appeal. That's a fact.
And the list still left off the likes of Hamed, Morales, Castillo, Lennox. It's rough out there. Thank god for Floyd and his self-preservation, really.
