    We probably don't know the biggest waste of talent, maybe some sad story at a gym somewhere of some potentially great fighter not getting his act together and not making it pro or something.

    As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of James. Such a talented fighter. Could still be winning world titles now if he had discipline throughout his career. :-(

    Biggest waste of talent is probably some guy we have never heard of.

    Ike Ibeabuchi. Not saying he would've been a great, but he would've been up there with the Klits in this era, would've made it alot more interesting

    I think what the OP means is that Tyson and Hamed could of been better, which is true. One became lethargic the other too much going on you can say both seemed to lose focus and love for the game. Imo Moorer and Valero. On a smaller scale Angulo and Jose Luis Lopez.

    i would not say mike tyson was a waste. youngest hw champ and hall of famer.some of the quickest kos in boxing history and at one time the baddest man on the planet.
