I really enjoyed watching this one.

Seeing Salido box a bit was pretty interesting to watch

I remember watching this fight when there was talk of Cobrita fighting Stevie Johnston and I didn't give a crap cause he was fighting some bum(Salido).

Good find, Salido has come a long way!

Cobrita is a good friend of mine. He loves it when people remember that fight.

Yeah, Salido is one of those rare guys in boxing who has a long, gradual, learning curve. . . He actually learns from his losses, something that all fighters claim, but few actually do.

And people don't even recognize a good champ, they rather jump on the Fighter who became a champ by fighting guys a division below him, who aren't even ranked on that division.

The smaller fighters deserve more respect and recognition. Not to mention they actually put on action packed fights, unlike others... Come on nobody(outside Hardcore fans) knows salido or gonzales, yet they love and praise Canelo who hasn't done chit! Not saying he won't.

    :good

I preach the same message. . . 135 and under is where it's at in boxing right now, and pretty much always has been. . .

It's a travesty that they don't get more recognition. . . For some reason a lot of mainstream (and surprisingly a lot of proclaimed "hardcore") fans just refuse to really pay attention to anything under Welterweight. . . AND I DON'T GET IT?! Action, excitement, exchanges. . . Brawling, AND boxing. . .

also. . . Salido's overhand right = one of hte most underrated punches in boxing. . .

It's awkward, and unorthodox, but the way he wings it over the top is just so damn effective! He was even timing Gamboa with some of those babies!
