Why is so many of you disrespecting Felix Trinidad?

Benitez would be my numero uno from PR.

Tito is definetly among my favorites from La Isla del Encanto tho.

Trinidad at his best was a beast. Was too damn susceptible of getting outboxed but when hurt he was a monster and always gave his all even when outmatched. Great fighter and is missed.

BTW, this is ESB. People act like tough guys and call actual fighters "cowards" though they never got in a ring their whole lives and closest they ever got to fighting was playing fight night. Horrible game lol.

Trinidad has always been respected here and rightfully so.

 

Tito stood out from your typical Boricua fighter. His boxing wasn't great, Gomez could box or brawl equally well, Tito did have a decent jab, but no lateral movement. Not since Rosario had there been a PR prolific puncher, yet Tito was never a one punch ko artist, but his combinations were some of the best and pretty brutal. Even Mexicans love Tito and respect him more than any other PR fighter. Offense was great, defense not so much.

 

he never used loaded gloves. it was that his hands weren't wrapped properly to new york specification unlike margarito who used plaster

 

Thats what Im saying. After seeing roy today Id like to see tito get his revenge. The time is now
