Part of that was their decision to use 'that doctor' as cutman. Kelly had never had an IV to rehydrate before. I could also be the reason they couldn't stop the bleeding.

Yeah, nobody wants to give Chavez his props. . . Boxers have 5-10 pounds on other boxers in the ring all the time. . . Part of the game is being able to properly make weight, and rehydrate well - it's just another dynamic of hte game nowadays. . . And it can hurt a boxer, just as much as it can help him (risk of not properly rehydrating, speed, etc.)

Chavez wins because he's a fierce warrior with underrated boxing ability. . . Unlike most guys who can't improve with each passing fight, Chavez does - he learns, and he grows according to his strengths, and weaknesses. .

I think him and Martinez is about a 50/50 fight. . I'm leaning towards Chavez a little because I'm a huge fan. . I can't wait to see the haters excuses after the fight :)

Yeah, that was just a bad night for Kelly - he had a lot of things working against him. . And I don't think he was fully prepared for Martinez. . He was winning that fight going into the 9th round when the cut just went all to hell.

It's because Chavez has failed a drug test and missed out on another test.

I Think Boxing Need To Go Back to Weighing on Fight Day!!!!

This will Keep all these Cheating Mofo's out the Lower Weight Classes.

How can you Mofo's as Fans of the Sport be "OK" with this ****???
if you're In a 154 Fight on Fight Night You should not come in at 170-180 Pounds that **** is Crazy!!
Am I the Only one that have a Problem with this ****??

I say new Rules for 147(150 is the Most u should max out on Fight night)
154 (160 Should be the Most on Fight Night)

if you Can't Make the Weight Move up...our Down Out the Weight Class!!!

Diuretics, which is a main masking agent. Then at his next card he flat out MISSES the tests.

And you're saying people aren't giving him a fair shake? :patsch

Do people not realize that cutting weight is now a permanent part of fighting? Over 90 percent of mma fighters cut weight, but in boxing people act like its the downfall of the sport.

Nobody on the February card tested. And according to Dan Rafael, he tested this past weekend. I would consider him a reliable source.
