Nice test for KP. Finally a top 20 guy. Rosinsky nearly bet top 10 contender Edwin Rodriguez, lost a decision that 60/40 thought he won, Then bet Pryor Jr who is a tough awkward fighter, clearly not like his dad though.

This will be a tough fight for KP verses a young, game opponent, But still I pick Pavlik.

Bingo, Rustbelt do you only watch Pavlik because most serious boxing fan watch Shobox, And that was a big event. No offense but That fight was close any man could have won, I think I had it a draw.

This and after that he can take on Bute in Montreal, would've loved to see Stevenson vs Pavlik

This fight provides more tv time/ exposure for Kelly. (something he very well needs)

This opportunity allowed KP and crew to send a clear message to HBO. Kelly is serious.

If any of you guys can locate some good video of Rosinsky, and put it up on You Tube, I'd appreciate it. I saw Rodriguez/Rosinsky, but I barely remember it.

rosinsky is a better boxer than stevenson and fights better inside.

exactly, does pavlik have the same manager?after getting smoked by hopkins and having almost a 2 year layoff then taking on martinez had to be the worst management of all time! This is another bad fight. Stevenson probably didnt want either fight.

I think folks are confusing Stevenson with Edison Miranda by saying Kelly would have an easy time with him. Stevenson is a different animal and would make quick work of Rosinsky who's getting overrated from a bad performance from Edwin Rodriguez who hasn't been the same fighter since tearing his shoulder against Aaron Pryor.

Rosinsky's a great test, up there with Alfonso Lopez, but Stevenson's a dangerous top 10, which is why Pavlik's team is passing on him for now. If Kelly goes out flat against Stevenson, he could get ruined.

Kelly has had the same manager, his Dad, agent Cameron Duncan & promoter Top Rank, since he turned pro!! Only change has been well chronicled and that was his trainer!! Not sure what this fight has to do with any of Team Pavlik's future plans?? Rios fell out, they called KP to see if he would be interested....They get a big name on short notice & he gets HBO exposure. It shows he's serious about his future & HBO can gage this performance against future interest in him!! Rosinsky is a solid fighter, good performance against Edwin & he's young and hungry!! As far as the Stevenson stuff, they may take that fight at some point , but Darnell Boone knocked the guy out for Christ sake!! KP's been whooping Boone since he was 17!! LOL

 Can't argue with this one.

When Pavlik deserves respect, I just show it.:clap:

(contrary to some Pavliktards and AA)

Rosinky appears to be a solid C Plus or B Minus level fighter. He's short, doesn't have alot of power, nor alot of speed. He does have decent fundamentals, but he's still in the category of fighters KP normally beats 7 shades of **** out of.

I've seen several posts that made way to much out of Rosinky's amatuer success. Will was a grown man and still in the Ams. Kelly fought at higher levels when he was only 17 years old.

The main thing that makes this fight important is that it gives KP another chance with HBO. Hopefully KP will perform well, and then move on to bigger and better things.
