Hey guys, wondering what you think Josesito Lopez's chances are on Saturday?

I interviewed him and trainer Henry Ramirez yesterday and have included the link below. I think Josesito has a better shot than most are giving him, but I think ultimately he will lose a decision. He will have moments though.

Josesito Lopez Looks To Upset The Odds Against Victor Ortiz
    by Mark Ortega

There aren't many giving Riverside, Calif.'s Josesito Lopez much of a chance to overturn the already set table of his June 23 opponent Victor Ortiz at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in the Showtime Championship Boxing main event.

Among those is Ortiz's promoter Golden Boy Promotions, who has a tentative date set in September for Ortiz to move up to junior middleweight and take on one of boxing's few box-office beaus Saul “Canelo” Alvarez in a pay-per-view attraction set for the weekend of Mexican Independence Day.

This isn't the first time Ortiz has been setup to win at the Staples Center. Almost three years to the day, featherweights Chris John and Rocky Juarez were set to rematch atop a bill that featured Ortiz against the largely unknown Marcos Maidana in the co-feature. John-Juarez II fell out and Ortiz found himself headlining at perhaps the biggest venue in California. Ortiz was being hailed as one of the sport's future stars by all the important outlets.

Maidana overcame three knockdowns to bamboozle Ortiz into submission in the 6th round, and it took almost two years for Ortiz to regain the status he had once been handed without really earning. Lopez is hoping to send Ortiz back to the minors with a big upset, and those who aren't giving him a shot to do so should really reconsider.

For one, Lopez and longtime trainer Henry Ramirez have received some additional tips from a reliable source.

wonder how many people will say timber, if he knocks ortiz out. i'm not giving him much of a chance though, unless ortiz is already thinking about canelo.

Good chance of winning it legitimately then you have Ortiz who also quit in the past so that's another chance.

Ortiz needs to watch out for butts, elbows, cuts injuries Ect...
He might be preoccupied besides that Josesito took the announcement of this fight as a diss.

Lopez has nothing to lose actually the "Spoiler" role might pump him up.

Lopez is a good fighter, very aggressive and has decent power and chin. He'll definitely come to win and he beat Jesse Vargas clearly imo.

I think Victor is a level above though (maybe even two) and he'll win, but if he doesn't stop him early he could have a few scary moments.

He doesn't have much of a chance, but Ortiz is there to be hit and is streaky with his performances so an upset isn't out of the question. Likely an Ortiz mid-rounds stoppage win though.

Outbox him then do it while pushing forward make him miss and pay for getting wild aggressive then continue slowly stalking him he hates that only confidence going forward.. ... work body because Ortiz an athletic beast and if u can't keep up your done...

Lopez is a tough guy, may have beat J. Vargas. And he also KTFO'd a great prospect in Mike Dallas but neither of them are nearly as good as Ortiz, Victor Ortiz by KO 6
