Lewis seems to hate K2 and always talks **** about them. There should be some mutual respect between these great fighters.
There was none because that would have been as relevant as a win against unskilled one trick pony David Tua who was sent to retirement by mighty Monte Barrett. Tua's still the best win on Lewis' resume though along with 38 year old Holyfield and 36 year old shot to sh*t Mike Tyson.
Lewis is NOT envious of Klitschkos success, thats bs. He has accomplished more than either of them and will be ranked higher in the ATG-rankings, so why would he envy them? However, I feel that LL is still bitter about the fact that America has ignored him for so long, that they stole his big moment in the first Holyfield-fight, and that they reduce his legacy to his last controversial fight and his two KO-losses.
Lewis might be, but shouldn't be. He was a better fighter then Vatali and Waldimir. He fought better fighters, unified the titles and retired on top. Lewis was the best Vatali has faced his whole career as a boxer and he lost. Lewis should not be a bit disappointed.
3 years, the same amount of time before the Lewis - McCall rematch and after McCall got beat by Bruno ? :hi:
That's a very good point. Also, unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he left the ring for the last time to boo's, not to cheers. That had to sting a bit.
The thing that makes Lennox seem so bitter is for years after he fought Vitali he kept trying to give Vitali's opponents "advice" on how to beat him and he finally gave up. :roflatsch
pity for your point that hundreds of thousands of Germans followed Hitler into mass genocide werent Austrian, then, eh? it was undeniably a german thing historically. Their concentration camps werent run by the Swiss! when the odds are overwhelmingly against you to the scale of a million to one, you ought never to keep on arguing your point. But I agree that its extremely distasteful to compare anything Nazi to other periods in German history.
Lewis has plenty to be disappointed about, but none of it has to do with the K brothers though. Lewis was always and remains unloved and unappreciated by US boxing fans. That will never change. The US public just has never warmed to the college educated Englishman. That's probably what Lennox is a bit bitter about. He did everything in the ring he could do and he always remained under-appreciated. When you hear him talk about the Klitschko brothers and how they 'do not appeal to mainstream fans' you notice how he slowly realizes that his own appeal wasn't any better. He was lucky to face boxers that had tremendous mainstream US appeal (and PPV revenue) in Holyfield and Tyson. Lewis alone by himself never had that, and he shares that feature with the Klitschko brothers.
but the US think the Klits are less than Lewis. So the Klits have less following than Lewis period, not just less success. your logic dont follow.- you are arguing that the Klits are jealous of Lewis!
Lennox at 36yrs living with momma.....lol @ Lennox. Waldomir at 20yrs amateur gold medalist ****ing ukrainean models and driving KGB modified Ladas. Wldomir cool, Lennox not.
In fact Wladomir would be a USSR version of James Bond - banging fine women across the globe while destroying his opponents - if it wasn't to the end of the cold war and his passion for professional boxing.
