    I saw this too, they appointed Duran a doctor who forced him to get down to 147 gave him diuretics tiny portions etc. No excuses I mean duran got himself in that condition by his own bad choices but Duran was 50% at best.

    I'll post more info from the Freddie Brown interview tonight. I'm not claiming that Brown's word is gospel (but he was his day to day trainer). It seems there are multiple stories even within Duran's camp on the 2nd fight and my point is, the stomach ache story over time seems to gain more acceptance but it's far from concrete.

    Today is a most HOLY day indeed:yep

    As it's the 32nd anniversary of this most momentous day in boxing history & what with me being born unto this world this day in......

    This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
    This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
    This other Eden, demi-paradise;
    This fortress, built by nature for herself,
    Against infection, and the hand of war;
    This happy breed of men, this little world;
    This precious stone set in the silver sea,
    Which serves it in the office of a wall,
    Or as a moat defensive to a house,
    Against the envy of less happier lands;
    This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this ENGLAND,::bbb:bbb:D

    Bow down & pay homage:bowdown HAIL to our LEADER:beer

    Perhaps the single greatest win in history.

    True.

    Duran was a grown man and a experianced champion. His excess partying was his own fault. Leonard took advantage of it.

    Had Duran come in at 100% condition and focus Ray may have still beat him with different tactics. It wouldve been one helluva a fight though and it wouldve went distance everytime.

    I always thought the scoring was 'slightly jaded' in favor of Ray Leonard.

    Roberto Duran did receive the scores by;

    Judge Harry Gibbs.............145-144 (6-5-4 in Rounds)
    Judge Angelo Poletti..........148-147 (3-2-10 in Rounds)
    Judge Raymond Beldeyrou...146-144 (6-4-5 in Rounds)

    The man below, who was the non-scoring Referee, later revealed his own
    scorecard, which was the proper scoring for Robert Duran

    146-143 (7-4-4 in Rounds)

    Duran won clearly IMO, although Leonard fought well.
