For a fight they don't even have signed and won't come off if Ortiz loses.

Arum claimed he reserved the fight in February, before the fight was signed and the fight wouldn't have come off if Chavez had lost to Lee.

    :deal

Schaefer has a more laid back, approachable image. Mother****er's got a cut throat mean streak behind the scenes, guaranteed or he wouldn't be running DLH's company.

Not really comparable situations, are they. Mayweather reserved a date and venue without even starting negotiations with the other team. He decided on the venue/date, before even picking an opponent.

Arum's not done that. He made sure the oppoenent and fight was finalized when his date was anounced.

Did you read what I wrote? Arum's claim is that he reserved the date in February. Explain to me how any fight was finalized in February. The fact of the matter is, nobody owns that date. Both companies have made it known that they wanted to stage a fight that date. Both companies have a right to stage a fight that night. However, someone needs to step aside. And who reserved what date first is irrelevant as far as who should step aside.

Ortiz still needs to fight. You have to wait until your fighter fights so you can start negotiating his next fight. I hope Ortiz and Lopez go to war and Ortiz has to lay off until a later date than Sep 15.

**** top rank but GBP should back down as the Chavez vs Sergio fight is much bigger and much more significant.
