40% of media experts thought JMM won, another 40% thought it was a draw, and about 20% thought Pac won. Thats pretty close. 98% of media experts had it for Pac, 91% on HBO poll, huge difference. Result is result though, JMM definitely has a bigger case for a rematch than Bradley as he has a bigger claim to beating Pac despite what paper say. That's boxing I guess.
For crying out loud. I agree it was a blatent robbery, but if he were to get the result overturned why not for all the other million robberies. People are making this out to be the first ever boxing robbery. I am sorry but the result should NOT be overturned. Did Roy jones ever get his gold medal? Move on or get a rematch. We all know what really happened.
wow, this exercise in PR and damage control is so dumb and meaningless. For starters, unless you are there sitting in a judge's chair during the fight, you are not able to properly score a fight. Any judge worth their salt should know that and not lend their credibility to some video scoring farce. Secondly, has this ever even been done in boxing before? Everyone is bending their back over backwards cause Pac got an unfavourable decission (a common occurence) and all the Flips are threatening to pull their babysitting cash. Has boxing gotten so desperate?
No one is really arguing for the results to be overturned but this offers the opportunity to make some changes to the sport that are a long time coming.
You've been on here since 2009 and don't know the difference? Not that you are any different than most here.
Are you suggesting Timmy put so much of an ass-whooping on Emmanuel that he is scared for his health, and that Bradley himself had to be confined to a wheelchair for the safety of other boxers and fans in the street?
We all hear you, Timmeh! It is being dealt with. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) disagreed with the controversial decision in this weekend's welterweight championship to award Timothy Bradley the title over Manny Pacquiao, saying Pacquiao had been "robbed." Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) agreed. Reid worked with McCain on the bill.
Mannys scared he knows he couldnt do **** with Bradley who had two flat tires he knows a healthy Bradley will expose his sorry ass....
Show me Reids fight record it isnt anywhere to be found, what he had a few amateur fights when he was 10 big ****ing deal
Both Senators were boxers. Their fight records are irrelevant. Their records as politicians are what counts. A Democrat Senator and a Republican Senator united to support a non-American? That speaks volumes of how bad a robbery Pac-Bradley was. :deal
