lol Shane was a HEAVY Under dog...he didnt just shock the world by winning, he shocked the world by beating the crap out of him, and stopping him..he stopped a guy who is known to have a granite chin! Everything about the win, was impressive at the time.

In his whole carreer, he had not the balls to face a tested opponent in his prime
    such as Martinez.

I disagreed with you up until the dude with the traffic sign avatar said shane admitted to being on balco at the time of the first oscar fight. considering that new development, gotta say margarito's the better win. untainted by drugs.

Even with that...Nothing can take away Shane's performance! Marg didnt have plaster in his chin, he had them in his gloves, and His chin got destroyed like porcelin ...Shane did his thing and no one expected him to be THAT good...like I said before...its one thing to win...but its another thing to beat the crap out of him and stop him!

I had that in the back of my head, but still didnt feel a need to use it...but whatever the case, its okay to have dissagreements...You can feel whicheever fight was the best...I said time and time again, that the Oscar fight was great for Shane's legacy because Oscar was a legend....but the Marg fight was great too because Shane didnt beat Marg, he dominated and stopped him...he went to war with Oscar, but he was the first to stop Marg, and he was older, and an under dog in this fight...to each is own tho!

"He was increasing the percentage of red blood cells with every breath, increasing the number of oxygen molecules to his muscle tissue, which means instead of having shortness of breath during a long workout, your stamina is enhanced," Conte said. "We had talked about the benefits of oxygen uptake. . . . We talked about the benefit of EPO being at the end of the fight, with his extra stamina and endurance."

Mosley has acknowledged injecting himself in the stomach area and paying for BALCO products -- Conte said the bill was $1,650 with a $900 cash payment for EPO -- but the boxer maintains he believed he was using legal vitamins.

"You think vitamins cost $900 a month?" Conte asked.

In the Sept. 13, 2003, rematch against De La Hoya, all three judges awarded Mosley a 10-9 decision in the final four rounds, and Mosley won his third world title by unanimous decision, 115-113, on all three scorecards.

Conte says his calendars show Mosley received EPO through Sept. 8, 2003, and that he took eight doses of "the clear," and seven doses of "the cream" until Aug. 31, 2003.

"Yes, I watched that fight, and I remember him winning the late rounds and thinking, 'That was an edge,' " Conte said. "Shane deserves all the credit for his victory, but did I feel a part of it? In a certain regard, I guess I did."
