Aussie boxer Damien Hooper has been sent home from an Aussie training camp, wonder will he make the olympics now, surely if he dosent go Ward has to step in . Clutching at straws but you never know. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/l...t-home-from-camp/story-fn9dheyx-1226401630849
Hooper was only sent home for acting the bollocks. He will be back training with the squad by Monday from what I've read. disgusted over the Ward decision. How can he not be deemed the best in Europe if he's the current European champion.
I think its more to do with Bosnia not having any boxers there, its stupid really it should be given to the best and with the results Ward has been getting lately he was the best but the aiba are a funny ol bunch.
Still though its aload of bollocks. If he stays on in 4 years time at heavyweight he will be an absolute monster.

Hopefully the winner of Sturm v Geale will give Lee a title shot. I think he still has a great chance at picking up a belt at 160. Stewart needs to get an conditioner for him though. In the mean time I imagine he will have a couple of undercard spots with some tough fights ahead though!
what more can Steward do? it's not like he wasn't aware of the stamina issue before now so he must have already tried to address it ... Lee might benefit from a change of scene
Looks like a boxer called Bosko Draskovic got the 81kg wild card, not the Bosnian. He lost in the second round of the world championships, so it doesn't make sense in terms of being "next best ranked". He's also from Montenegro, and they had 19 people at the last Olympics, so shouldn't have qualified for the tripartite place either.

Spoke to Carl about next fight. Hopefully Martinez, possibly Molitor. Article in today's Newsletter. Will put online later if time. Hope you're all well by the way :good
Lee should get west to the wild card and start juicing he'll be champ in no time.. Whats next for Lee? Possible showdown with Macklin or Barker, all three have come short in their title fights.
