whoa! dude settle down. they (jones and hall) tested positive for andro. this has been reported a number of times. andro was legal over the counter in 2000 but banned by the ibf at that time. i'm sure this won't change your opinion on the matter but know you could go to the store and by this crap in supplements during that time. jones has been tested plenty of times after this and they've all come back clean.

Here is a credible interview with the only reliable source on the subject, Jacob Hall. There's absolutely no proof that Roy Jones took Ripped Fuel, or tested positive for Andro. That was an excuse provided by Roy's camp as a cover up. Along with the excuse of 'nasal decongestants'. What he did take? We don't know, but Roy had a chance to submit to a follow up test to clear his name. If you've got nothing to hide, why wouldn't you want to clear your name? I'm not convinced that an 'over the counter' product from a sports shop or pharmacy can elevate your testosterone levels to 6 times what is possible for a human male to produce.

yes, i've seen this article hundreds of times on these boards. espn as well as other credible boxing websites listed that they tested positive for andro. the reason i know this isn't a big deal is because the boxing media (who hates jones for the most part) didn't jump all over it. the ring magazine had a blurb near the front of their mag when the story hit and then it really wasn't reported at all after that. the only place you see the story come up is on these message boards usually overrun by euro trash. you say you list facts here but in bold i've pointed out opinions. jacob hall even admits that ripped fuel is not illegal to take but was banned by the ibf.

the ibf could have acted but didn't. jones (and hall) should have known that those supplements were illegal but to categorize jones as a steroid cheat for his entire career for an over the counter supplement vs richard hall is ridiculous. he had to take many tests over his career and they all came back negative. fighters like mosley, toney and vargus we're trying to cheat and all got busted but none of them take as much **** on these boards as jones.

 

Read the interview from Jacob Hall, no-one knows what they tested for. If Jacob Hall who conducted the testing doesn't know what they tested for, then how do journalists who write for ESPN know? :nut

Ripped fuel was an excuse from Roy's camp. You're right, we don't know how long Roy Jones was cheating for. However, you have to ask yourself, if it was just once, why for Richard Hall? What did Roy see in Richard Hall as a fighter, that intimidated him to the point where he felt the need to increase his testosterone levels to up to 6 times the legal limit? What Roy Jones did before the Richard Hall fight, has a huge cloud of suspicion over it at the very least:hi:
