But Kimbo Slice has more of a following. His debut boxing bout had over half Million Views on youtube, one of his more recent fights has at over 300,000 views already.

The snobbishness of some fans to Prizefighter is funny!

These sort of tournaments existed in the bare knuckle era and earlier.

 

Considering hes contempt to fighting 4 rounders its more or less his comfort zone at the moment, However seeing him fighting 3 consecutive fights (approx 9 rounds) may prove to be too much for him

Hes could win it depending on the lineup, Kimbo V Audley would be interesting

 

There is no way in a million years this will ever happen. Slice and his promoter are quite happy with him bashing up guys who aren't actually boxers. That's not a knock either. I actually like the guy, but there not risking putting him in a line up with real boxers in it. He will keep knocking out nobodies and his people will talk about making the next move and never make it.

Seriously though, look at the history of the sport in this state in the late 60s/early 70s. Read about the trouble these tournaments caused to the likes of Ken Buchanan, who nearly gave up on the sport because he could not get enough money to make a living in the sport because of these stupid tournaments; tournaments that brought the sport down to its knees.

Personally, I do not want to go back too that. If that makes me a snob, then so be it oik!
