How can people give the Pacquiao/Marquez fight to Marquez...Are you serious!!??

    I still find it unfathomable that people still believe Marquez won that fight. I understand it was a close fight, that is undoubted....BUT In my opinion, Pacquiao was victor of that fight.

    Whether or not it was intentional, Marquez continually stepped on Pacquiao's foot. We didn't see a whole lot of that in the first 2 fights, but then all of a sudden it becomes apparent in the 3rd fight. Then Marquez headbutts Pacquiao in the fight....again, who knows if intentional or not. And then, in some parallel universe you can land "some" clean counter punch shots while fighting on the back foot, and be looked at as the winner. When in reality, Pacquiao was being the aggressor all night long! Marquez might have been catching Pacquiao a few times with clean, counter punch shots, but this is boxing, not archery, and unfortunately for Marquez, being the aggressor and throwing more shots looks a lot better.

    That's my opinion anyway, but opinions are like A$$holes, EVERYBODY HAS ONE!!

    exactly. being the aggressor means a W for that clown. that was one of the reasons JMM won, he MADE paq painfullly inaffective. his aggression was useless and worked to JMM advantage. made jmm look good and paq look lost , bad and a beaten up man

    You're a ****ing ******. Both fighters stepped on each others feet, this is what happens when a southpaw fights a righty, this is also why they clashed heads.
    Using ineffective aggression does not win bouts, this is boxing not fighting, pac was swinging widly and missing all night while Marquez was setting the pace of the fight and countering pac everytime he lunged in.

    You say its unfathomable that people had/have Marquez winning but admit you think it was a close fight :lol:, I don't think you could come off any more stupid that you already have done.

    anyone who buys this fight is an idiot. This series is two sequels too long. After the second fight I had enough.

    let me ask you something if the first fight was a draw and jmm was droped 3x in that fight. in the rematch jmm was droped one time in that fight and loss the fight by one single point .3rd fight were jmm took less damage then he did in fights with manny 1 & 2 put together. not only did he take less damage he hit pacman way more then he ever did before in any of there fights. i was convinced it was the knockdowns that gave jmm those losses.but when he did not go down at all, hardly even stunned or wobbled at that.

    marquez out boxed pacquiao that night and its unfathomable to me that you would use word unfathomable saying you can see how people thought he won. hell hbo aint just start using polls on who won the fight when pacman loss to bradley.back then like 70 % of the views felt like marquez won that fight and deserved to have his hands raised.

    drop 3x time fight 1 draw
    drop 1x time fight split loss by one point
    3rd fight dropped no times and outboxed manny 8rds to 4rds no closer then 7rds to 5rds for pacuiao.

    i cant see how people think manny won that fight, i can understand noobs and *******s. but thats about it, well actually i think it is only *******s and noobs who think manny won that fight. with all due respect i totally disagree
    it was a easy fight to score from start to finnish.

    It was closer than the Bradley/Pacquiao fight, but it was still obvious Pacman won. And no, I'm not a "*******" or any other word to describe a Pacquiao fan. I am just a fan of boxing, and I believe Pacquiao won. I think the stepping on the feet and headbutt/s was all part of Marquez's plan...But who knows.
