i think its difficult for everyone, when the contender is only in a defensive/survive mode and in addition a good defensive boxer.

Here's big Vit vs. Larry Donald, I think this was a WBC eliminator back in the days. Look how Vitali is struggling finding range and getting clean shots off. Donald never amounted to much as a boxer, just very tough to find target on this type of defensive fighters.

This does not help Vit out at all. And you know damn well the Euros would be saying "Well they later on went to win Prize fighter even after losing to Vit" in order to raise up Vit.

    Now what ****os

Stupid thread. As far as I recall Johnson was ranked around 9 or 10 by the ring when VK beat him and Sosnowski wasn't really ranked by anyone - neither counted as anything more than solid wins and the fact that they happen to loose further fights AFTER Vitali beat them does nothing to change that. It's true that VK doesn't have great names on his record, but he has dominated a lot of solid, top 10 ranked fighters. In a weak era like this, there's not a lot more you can do.

I think Safety pin has some skill but needs a major overhaul. Vitali fought Johnson when he was too young and inexperienced still because Vitali likes beating up young inexperienced fighters. But yeah Vitali is **** anyway.

To be fair to Vitali, the HW division is just flat-out garbage...The lack of comp. is really killing today HW...There just isnt anyone that could actually give them a good fight.

What are you guys talking about ?

He dominated both Kingpin and Sosnowski, not losing a single round. He even stopped Sosnowski. What is he supposed to knock them out in 1 round ? He dominated them like he dominated EVERY oponent put in front of him, excluding Lennox Lewis (including Chris Byrd).
