Stevenson vs Bika (Pascal-Cloud undercard

See, I'm pretty thoroughly disgusted by both as people.

I thought what Bika did to Mendy was flagrant, intentional, and honestly could have merited a lifetime ban by just about every commission worth a damn.

As for Stevenson...yeah, pimping and beating young girls (knocking them unconscious etc.) - pretty bad.

As long as someone takes an ass kicking here, I'm happy. :yep Preferably a drawn out bloody war of attrition that takes years off both their careers.

bika's was probably done in the heat of the moment, so imo it's forgivable?

stevenson though? I just read up on that...thanks for giving me further reason to want to see this guy take a prolonged mauling that ultimately results in him being badly starched.

 

Nah, I've watched it several times... Bika wound up and teed off, the fact that he was "all worked up" and in beast mode doesn't make it OK to me...he needed to have that internal filter telling him to hold back. Mendy was lucky not to have had severe brain damage or even died from that.

Too bad Boone's stoppage of him wasn't televised, you could set it a tune like "There Goes My Hero" :yep

IB, I know you're one of the most respected posters on this forum and I agree. But about Stevenson, you should make more research instead of repeating what Gonzales said in the press conference before his fight with Stevenson. Yes he was a pimp, no I don't respect him because of that, but he never beat any young girls.

All I'm saying is that the "girl beating" rumor was just that, a rumor said by Gonzales to hype his fight with Stevenson. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but even IB don't know. I don't really care anyway since it happened like 15 years ago and he went to jail for what he was accused of, and I don't like him much.. hehe

Actually, maybe you should research a bit more, because that "rumor" was floating around for many, many years before Stevenson fought Gonzales. :blood


In fact as far back as 1998 it was documented by the Quebecois media that he had forced young girls to box each other naked and if they failed to knock each other out cold he'd intervene and "deliver the KO blow himself".

I believe he also later confessed to everything, both which he was convicted of and just suspected of. :conf
