holy **** the poll is just about even here in ******* land, that tells you all you need to know!! When Pac ain't drastically winning a poll the other option is definetly the right one. I've seen Pac win polls on some of the most ridiclous **** ever on here. Who's more american Pac or Floyd (pac wins poll here in ******* land aka ESB)

They bout the same. Pac's slightly more names vs Floyd's undefeated and fought guys at the top coming off wins and no weight drains.

But isn't that the point? If you call their common wins even (which it seems you lean to Floyd). In order for you to think Pac's resume is better you have to think that wins against Barrera and Margo (or the combo of 17 nondescript fighters) not only offset, but are greater than 4 losses and 2 draws. How does that make sense?

It depends. I consider them even these days. The loss to Marquez hurt Pacquiao IMO (yes it was a loss, Bradley robbed Pac so fair is fair)

Pac won his first lineal championship in the same wegiht class he lost brutally in. Is it FAIR, to sweep those losses under the rug, all while championing his lineal title?

For Pac's resume to be superior he has to make up ground for the 4 losses 2 draws and for that matter all the split/mixed decisions. Where does that happen? I guess my question is what on the win side of Pac's resume is so much better than Floyd that it overcomes the 4 losses and 2 draws? Is it the 11 additional victories? It's not like he won 200+ like Willie Pep.

There is no-one on Pac's resume better than JMM, Oscar or Cotto. JMM for instance, beat Barrera. Essentially the additional 11 victories are redundant. Pick a few who would beat Corralles or Castillo.

Head to head opponents are debated on both sides, I personally give the edge to Floyd. But for Argument's sake let's give the head to head opponents to Pac -- How was he so much more dominant against those opponents that it overcomes 4 losses? I just don't see it.

I think it's the 3 amigos that gives Pac the edge (regardless of how you view the JMM trilogy).

It was all action-packed series against future HOFamers that defined Pacquiao's legacy.

Anybody that think Pacquiao, Leonard or Armstrong above Money need to understand that they all used catchweights and Money didn't. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

Anyone that thinks Pacman is higher up on the legacy ladder must be an idiot. Taking into consideration that all fighters at one point in their careers carefully select opponents to look good against, mayweather most definately fought the better competition hands down. The problem that I have when all the mayweather vs pacman talk arise is that people really don't take the time to really look at Pac's opponents, how he fought them, and when he fought them. Fighting an opponent 3x should not increase your legacy value. people always fail to recognize or admit that pacman fought guys at catchweights. Let's be real if we are going to discuss legacies, what was so special about fighting guys who had to come down in weight and not fight at their natural weight.

Pac is a good fighter and makes for good fights but honestly, I think he needs a new trainer. He can't fight on the inside, can't fight backing up, rarely makes adjustments, and as much as you guys hate to admit it, is very one dimensional.

mayweather's track record is way above his. Chavez, castillo, corrales, manfredy, mitchell, zab, augustus, corley, hatton, oscar, ortiz, cotto, baldomir ( who probably weighted around 165 fight night or more), marquez, mosley, gatti. Come on man, be real with this, pac can't touch mayweather if you just put aside the hate you guys have for lil Floyd.

Shane and Clottey were #6 ww's at the time Pacquiao fought them.

Notice how the ******* did not include the unranked Margarito.

 Yeah right! Chavez a proven drug cheat and there is mounting speculation he is on PEDs as there is always some controversy after his fights and he fights in texas, the most corrupt commission in the US! Yeah I can really see Arum getting chavez to take extra tests :rofl. Keep sucking that top rank dick, maybe they will pay you a bit more in the future. You're such a hypocrit its not even funny anymore. :deal :thumbsup
