A dominant force in women's sprinting, Jones was upset in the 100 m sprint at the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_World_Championships_in_Athletics"]2001 World Championships[/ame], as [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukraine"]Ukrainian[/ame] Zhanna Pintusevich-Block beat her for her first loss in the event in six years; Pintusevich-Block was one of the names revealed by [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Conte"]Victor Conte[/ame] during the BALCO scandals. Jones, however, did claim the gold in both the 200 m and 4x100 m relay.
On her [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Summer_Olympics"]2004 Olympics[/ame] experience, Jones said "It's extremely disappointing, words can't put it into perspective."[14] She came in fifth in the Long Jump and competed in the women's 4x100 m relay where they swept past the competition in the preliminaries only to miss a baton pass in the final race. Jones promised that her latest defeat would not be the end of her Olympic efforts, and reasserted in May 2005 that winning a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics remained her "ultimate goal."

Jones running at the 2006 [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meeting_Gaz_de_France"]Meeting Gaz de France[/ame] in Paris

May 2006 saw Jones run 11.06 at altitude but into a headwind in her season debut and beat [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veronica_Campbell"]Veronica Campbell[/ame] and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauryn_Williams"]Lauryn Williams[/ame] in subsequent 100m events. By July 8, 2006, Jones appeared to be in top form; she won the 100 m sprint at [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaz_de_France"]Gaz de France[/ame] with a time of 10.93 seconds. It was her fastest time in almost four years. Three days later, Jones once more improved on her seasonal best time at the Rome IIAF Golden League (10.91 seconds), but lost to [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica"]Jamaica[/ame]'s [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherone_Simpson"]Sherone Simpson[/ame], who clocked 10.87.

I would expect that no one has, but don't you think you are missing the point? USADA has failed to catch at least two athletes that have been caught by different organisations. Doing the most random tests under a system that has not managed to do what it was set up to do should not gain any particular praise.

Is that the Olympics? Looks like she performed pretty bad in 2004 when they tested her.

signed up for it under the guidance of the man who hit his drugs in numerous athletes this past decade?

Also has he even started this superior testing?

MattMattMatt is implying cycling PED you dummy. 2 month random test don't mean anything when you only fight once a year, the opportunity to cycle the use therefore cannot be ruled out.

i get that...so basically everyone is a suspect but Mayweather would be the least likely suspect because hes undergone the testing more than any boxer? correct?:patsch

You think that one fighter passing both is any kind of statistical evidence for suggesting they are on a par?! While I shouldn't expect any reasonable level of scientific method from a boxing forum, it must be made clear that one fighter passing both tests, once, says nothing at all about the quality of the two tests.

If he wasn't on PEDs, he wasn't on PEDs, so would not be caught by either. If he was on PEDs, then that is an example situation where both organisations failed their duty, but we cannot prove that.
