snapped.. This happened before during the Mitchell fight and after the Bute beatdown.

Just blatantly accuse people of racism because of irl issues probably.

When ask why so many Kbro haters got favorite white athletes... vlad just becomes silent on the topic.

Go read what the other Kbro fans are saying about you ******... Even they now think you are a secret Brittard in disguise on purposely making people hate the Kbros..

Read their comments ... I also think you are a secret K2 Hater tbh...

The fight with Lewis was in 1996
    1997: no fights
    1998: 1 fight
    1999: 1 fight
    2000: no fights
During that time, he had problems with hepatisis and according to his own words "alcohol helped him keep the weight". If you want to say he was in great shape... I rest my case.

He wasn't prime of course, but I'm not sure he was totally shot, either.

Regardless, Mercer was perceived as the toughest test to date for Wlad at that point, and a lot of people thought 'Merciless' would get to him. I remember in the lead-up to the fight, Mercer describing Wlad as the "Russian Tommy Morrison" or something to that effect.

It was a very good win for Wladimir, and I recall being quite impressed with his efforts at the conclusion of that one.

2002 ray mercer isn't a "good" win, it's a tuneup heavyweight championship bout where wlad did exactly what he should have in knocking out a 41 year old shot fighter, who in the very last bout where he challenged anything remotely close to holding the jockstrap of the elite, he lost against lennox lewis, 6 years earlier.

You're entitled to your views, but I stand by what I said.

It WAS a good win. Coming off the Botha win, even though Wlad dominated, he had more than his fair share of detractors after that one. Mercer was perceived as a threat to Wlad. He had just strung together a handful of KO wins and many observers thought he'd get to Wlad.

This wasn't viewed as a tune-up when it happened.

Qualify it however you want. The fact is, going into that fight Wlad had faced Jefferson, Shufford, and Botha.

Ergo, nobody was calling this a "tune-up". They were calling it what it was - "a step up in class"

What's really funny is the number of times Wlad kept bouncing off the canvas against Sanders, Brewster and Peter. :rofl I mean , the dude wishes he could hang in a tough fight like Mercer could.
