in a perfect world emmanuel would leave top rank and fight Floyd later this year. Both fighters would make their career high paydays and please the fans by making the fight. Floyd whoops him and uses him as a tuneup for Sexy Sergio

    just read it

Unca Roger visited Floyd in jail today

from the tone of it sounds like Amir would be a tuneup, a well-paying tuneup. The Cotto(e) fight was a superfight and tough by Floyd standards. Boxers usually put easy fights between hard ones to build up hype for the big one, give their bodies rest, and make some money. Amir would obviously be that kind of fight since Floyd seems down to fight Amir before Amir even tests the waters at 147

Add the fact that Floyd can't do his usual boxing training for a couple of weeks because of jail

If he fights again this year, it'll likely be an easy fight.

True. Maybe Alexander? That would be the last fight id like to see honestly.

Martinez fight makes more sense business-wise for Floyd i think. Even more than a Canelo fight. And legacy wise of course.

Would be an okay tuneup for Sexy Sergio. Devon like Sexy Sergio isn't an overly aggressive southpaw and relies lots on the right hand. It would be a great way for Floyd to get some rounds in.

Now Devon just needs to come off some sort of exciting win this Summer
