He's not actually any good These bums have two options, wait around for Wlad to retire, or try and beat him try and fail and it's back into obscurity they go
From the fights I've seen he looks good but he's a bit under sized for today's division. :deal That doesn't mean he can't defy the odds but he has to fight others in the top 10 to prove he belongs. He could probably get a fight against Povetkin.
Boytsov seems content to wait around like a vulture for Wlad to either retire or fade significantly before taking his chance. His game has stagnated as a result of not fighting tougher fighters and playing the waiting game. He needs to step it up to a top 15 HW soon unless he's happy just staying in the background and not challenging himself to be the best he can be.
Wasn't he at one point co promoted or Golden Boy had a small stake in him? :huh I thought I read once where they were looking to bring him to the US for a fight? Or maybe I am thinking of someone else? I know he has major hand issues and injures them in just about every fight
He really has zero skill which is why he has continued to fight c level opponents after 6 years as a pro. It's also why he stays in Europe. I wanted Arreola to fight Boytsov or anyone really. I'm just waiting for Boytsov to be exposed like Dimitrenko as Euro Hype Jobs.
