    From BoxingGangstaParadise.com -

According to the Ukrainian media, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40 KOs) has doubled the financial offer to undefeated Manuel Charr (21-0, 11 KOs) for a potential fight on September 8. It may take place in Germany or the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

The 27-year-old Syrian has yet to sign a contract because the two sides have not reached a financial agreement.

If Charr still deems the offer as being too low, then the 40-year-old champion will make a proposal to another opponent. Other potential foes include Mariusz Wach, Bermane Stiverne, Luis Ortiz and Seth Mitchell.

They have similar resume's so a 50/50 purse split sounds right.

A $600k payday to a no-name bum. Charr is the worst bum ever considered for a title fight. Even Sosnowski was better than this nobody and that speaks volumes.

Maybe Vitali knows that there will be some kind of intervention in Syria by that time and he wants to brandish his image by stomping a Syrian?

I had thought that Vitali would want to close out his career by beating up a Russian like Valuev or Povetkin. I don't know much about Ukraine but I understand some Ukranians don't like Russians.
