Liking one boxer is automatically synonymous with hating another to some people. Like if you give Floyd props on something then you're viewed as a ***** and a pac hater, and vica versa. Or if you give a boxer like Floyd critisism then you're a hater and automatically a pac fan by some peoples logic. And it's not just Floyd/Pac. If you say something bad about a Klitschko then you're automatically a Brittard. It's ridiculous. I'm a boxing fan, I don't have a favorite fighter, most of the time I don't care who wins and usually go for the boxer I think is better. There will be the odd occasion I'll root for a fighter like Froch or Rigondeaux. My point is that all this *******/*****/Brittard/Hater/fanboy **** is annoying and bad for the sport. Are there any real boxing fans out there?
It's ****ing ******ed is what it is. If you feel Lewis won the Klitschko fight, you hate both brothers, you hate white people, you're black, and from Britain If you feel Pac was wrong in turning down blood tests, you hate Pacquiao, love Floyd, love rap music, are black, scored the first fight with Castillo for Floyd, and scored the 3rd Pac/Marquez bout for Marquez. atsch
Me (Or so i'd like to think) 'True boxing fans' can never truly be perfectly balanced in their opinion though. it's human nature... Just be happy for yourself that if deep down you know/feel your close to bieng a 'true boxing fan' knowing that you can respect and love the sport and fighters with more depth than other 'fans' "Khan has 0 power" - Arranmcl are you a 'true boxing fan' ? or am I taking things out of context...
While I'm aware you're joking, I was predicting Katsidis to stop Burns. He does impress me though, very good technical boxer.
Yep - I rarely ever bet at all, like once a year or something, but I actually stuck a tenner on Katsidis to stop Burns, because I thought Katsidis would just be too strong and walk through him atsch Burns fought well, I'd like to see him in with Mitchell ASAP!
Now, now, son. There's a scourge of brittards upon this forum. Someone has to keep them in line. They multiply like rats whenever a B-level british fighter gets by mediocre at best opposition. That is just how things go on that isle. Even in the books of history the story is the same; when that little country gets a bit too cocky the true power of the world has to silence them. But they never learn...
I heard whispers of it being on the Haye - Chisora undercard. Not heard much more of it though, possibly bull****, but that would be an amazing card.
Yep, I've always tried to maintain the balance on what I post on forums, trying to be unbiased as I can. I always believe that you have to say real and biased things to really be successful as in I'm trying to be a good amateur boxer with good knowledge. Although I did find myself falling victim to the "robbery" pacquiao bradley till my coachs pointed out that if you watch it in mute you'll see the fight be much closer than it was. Its just human nature, but I try to meet the middle and avoid getting called out on dumb things by "boxing" fans.
Only bandwagonners or *****s or Filipino *******s/Crabs feel that way. Real boxing fans know what's up
I wouldn't complain about either fighter winning. It was a very close fight. Rounds 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 were all close. :rofl:rofl I actually have nothing wrong with a bit of bias, everyone, no matter what they claim, has some bias. And it's good for the sport. Boxers need fans, that's not what this thread is about at all. This is about the overly bias posters and the ones that jump on you claiming you hate Pac if you say you like floyd etc etc.
