Teddy just owned Conte like he did Bob Arum.

Teddy knows what is best for a pro boxer. Having Conte roid someone up have them Benching 500 lbs or whatever won't help them in a boxing match. Maybe that works good in baseball but not boxing.

He likes the sound of his own voice too much. . He's a great color commentator/blow by blow analyst. . . He's even a good pre/post-fight analyst. . .

But other than that, I don't really hold him in that high of regard. . . He'll toot his own horn too much. . . Even when he was training fighters, you can tell he cares more about how he wants to be perceived, than his boxer. . .

He also belittles his "brainier" colleagues, and he thinks he has the insight, and deserves the respect of some former old school world class trainers, and pugilists. .

Teddy is 100% right ! Boxing has been going on long before any strength and conditioning coach ever came on to the scene ..Look how bad boxing has got with all the short cuts ..Fighters like Robinson didn't have a strength and conditioning coach these guys had stamina for days ! Fast forward to today and now these boxers can't even fight a full rd ! I think he's on point when he says they are frauds ! Boxing didn't need all these advancemenst what it needs is more discipline to towards the craft !

And Teddy knows a ton more about boxing than have the idiots that report on it !

Nothing would make me happier than to see ESPN replace Teddy Atlas.

Well, Teddy may be right, stating what we all already knew, but where are his ideas for solutions?

I think he's stuck in the past when it comes to training.

strength and conditioning has evolved scientifically through studies..

Manny Pacquiao is a prime specimen. Ariza and UCLA are giving him the best quality **** to put him in top condition.

    :rofl

So, did you read the entire article in 2 minutes, or did you just dismiss it because you thought he might be dissing Alex Ariza?

Teddy is an angry bitter man. He is getting worst every time on FNF. He is probably the reason im having trouble watching FNF. The guy just bad mouths the sport of boxing in every aspect of it. Let the fans handle that and someone tell him to stick to be an analyst on the fight cards. The guy started of the show by complaining about the ring making noise and PED's. Great way to attract new fans and catch attention:patsch

Teddy didn't own anyone, as a matter of fact he comes off as a stupid backward rube.

Cheaters cheat, S&C actually improve S&C can you believe that.

Berto didn't cheat he got a positive via contamination, if he paid any attention to what he talked about he would know that.

Conte is one of the new people leading the sport in the right direction with VADA and pushing for higher testing.

I think it would be a good thing for boxing to have Conte advising the commissions, sactioning bodies and promoters on testing methods etc because the guy knows his ****, but he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the fighters. It doesn't look like they can stop him though.

How can people stop anyone for being involved with another person in a free society. No state has any authority at all to ban Conte, none at all.
