If anything I hinted he's going after Mayweather specifically, because everything else he's written is/was confirmed right before/after he wrote on it BUT the USADA/Floyd thing.

 

Exactly right. It may never get done, it could get done tomorrow. You just never know until it comes out. Its the nature of investigating.

Reports are that none of the 'random' testing has been done in the final two weeks before the fight. Seeing how there have been 8/10 tests each fight, how can this be unless the contract calls for it?

The only thing that bothers me about that window is that it consistently seems to appear. But thinking in terms of a juicing strategy, you'd want to taper anyways in the last two weeks to let your muscles deflate a bit. You get rigid using and when it leaves your system your agility and flexibility returns. A smart doper would know this. Obviously the stuff would still be in your system if you are tapering. But if they have been doing CIR as they claimed throughout in the first few weeks, the first part of the training camp is where you'd catch him.

What all these positives tell me is that we need out of competition testing. We have the extra testing happening now with some of the bigger names. Peterson will likely continue to do it. We'll see with Berto. I think they have no choice. Out of comp testing is in the distant future though. But it needs to be addressed.

Likely, the ABC will get involved soon to discuss universal standards for doping. If we can't do this across the board, compromises have to happen. Maybe as a penalty, when you test positive, form then on you have to do VADA or USADA testing from then on and pay for it.

I don't think boxing and the world will allow us to end prohibition. That argument will never be on the table.

Because you would be clearly mistaken, against mosley there was about a 7 day testing gap before fight day. So if you like that would be a 7 day window where testing was not done.

Against ortiz they fought september 17th, floyd last test was on the 15th of september that was 2 days before the fight. That would be a 2 day window.

Against Cotto, floyd last test before the fight was issued on May 2nd, 3 days before the fight. That would be a 3 day window.

I'm hoping the truth about Chavez Jr comes out, the fact that he failed a drug test in his fight against Rowland pretty much says it all.

Boxing is going through a transition which will have a positive impact in the long term no doubt. Alot of stories are coming out nowadays and it does make you wonder about the athletes during the 90s, 80s and 70s etc.

Regardless what you think of him as a reporter who else is out there in the field trying to bring this kind of **** to the light? we need this type of reporting, I think too many Floyd fans have reacted in a way that sort of contradicts what they have been arguing about testing for the last 3 years


You guys say you want a clean sport a safer sport, Obviously testing alone isnt exposing these ****ing cheating *******s and someone has to go out and get it done
