I always have trouble keeping Jermell Charlo and his brother Jarmell Charlo straight.

Maybe because they're ****ing identical twins with names that are only one vowel apart.

Much more difficult to keep sorted than Jesse & Diego Magdaleno, for instance.

Not a trick question, btw - there is a correct answer.

 

Round 1

Charlo throws a quick sharp 1-2 as Douglin comes pawing in with his right jab. Strong left jab by Charlo, and another 1-2. Douglin waves his jab, steps forward and turns his chin as a grazing Charlo left jab lands on it, and lands a straight left hand forcing his way in. Charlo flashes some quick straight combos off a double jab. Clinch. Douglin throws a 1-2 and gets ducked and popped with a mirror counter. Charlo throws a wide left jab as Douglin dives in low, dropping his head to his waist. Right hook by Douglin stepping in as Charlo grazes him with a 1-2. Another sharper 1-2 by Charlo. Douglin tries to jab the body with his right diving down, but Charlo keeps him out with quick 1-2s to the head. Charlo steps in with a lead right to the body and then sweeps out a low hook, backed up as Douglin throws a high right hook.

Round 2

Charlo is landing the quick left jab and then popping the right behind it as Douglin rolls in on him. Douglin tries to dig the lead left to the body diving in low. Lots of tying up after each one throws, all straight punches. Charlo is backed out by a left to the forehead when trying to grab after falling in with a 1-2. Sharp right cross by Charlo, knocks out Douglin's gum shield. Time out to rinse and replace it. Time in. Douglin doubles the right jab and Charlo ducks it. They circle at mid-range and measure each other from behind their guards. Double jab, right cross by Charlo, flush. Clinch. Douglin holds and hits with short pecking left uppercuts. Break. They punch into another clinch. Douglin seems comfortable in there, working those mini left uppers. BIG RIGHT HAND BY CHARLO IN THE FINAL SECONDS!! DOUGLIN STAGGERED!!

Referee's discretion, that could have been ruled a knockdown at the end when the bottom rope held Douglin up (although Farhood argues the no-call was correct, since it was kind of a push)
