That initial uppercut and combination Douglas put on him was beautifully savage, though. He was putting them together all night. (or morning in Tokyo, against hungover Tyson :yep )
Tillis had skills and he was broken down and destroyed. Smith was a very big strong fighter who decided it was better to Hold on for his life than to fight Tyson. Same with Tucker, another naturally big fighter who decided it was better to hold than open up after the first few rounds. Haye has poor stamina and his chin is suspect. Haye gets destroyed. I also like how winning a UD is struggling. especially when that person is holding on for his life. Tyson prefers you to open up so he can counter.
Tucker was a little hesitant to let his hands go, but he sure as **** gave a better account of himself than Bonecrusher IMO. Tyson didn't completely shut him out.
Tyson wasn't serious about the Douglas bout, even at the bell you could see it. Tyson was just jab.clinch which is a bad idea against a bigger guy. Prime Tyson bob and weave Douglas to death
Obviously a bull**** thread started to just have fun but I like playing along But Yeah...You know the Smith fight was a fight in which Tyson seemed to hate to talk about. Every time it was brought up during those years after... Tyson shook his head in disgust. Smith said that he basically froze up because of the hype at the time and thought if he had to do it over he would have let his hands go earlier. But the problem with that is, you open up and it makes you open for Tyson to counter and attack. Close that door on the big bad wolf and Tyson is seen yelling outside for you to open your door and play. But I'm sorry Mr. Tyson, I'm just fine right behind this closed door where I'm safe. It did remind me of what was said about Tyson though: that he can be frustrated if you don't play ball and fight.
Frustrated doesn't really mean **** when he's still winning wide. :deal He frustratingly won every single round against Smith. Wow.
Like I've said many times before in response...he "struggled" his way to a wide UD. If he isn't knocking MFers out, he "struggled"

Every time Haye throws one of those silly, looping hayemakers, his chin is wide open. A prime Tyson would KO him in the first round. Time to move on.
I think Charlie is right, Tyson had an actual Lion and not just the Tiger. But I only think that because I remember there was a video on youtube where one of his houses were abandoned and it had a "Lion's den" I think it was in Ohio. Have to look around and check to make sure my facts are correct. Been a while. Either way, I remember an interview someone asked about where his Tiger went because his money troubles and Tyson got sad atsch Edit: Tyson's mansion http://acidcow.com/pics/12569-abandoned-mike-tysons-mansion-54-pics.html
