Cotto's left hook will be too much for the red headed stepchild

Yep either one. I know cotto took some licks in the mayweather fight so most likely won't want a september date but maybe December this fight could be made.

cotto has more experienced, but canelo is physicly reaching or in his prime. in the mosley fight i was imressed how fast his flurrys of punches were, fast and powerful. for canelo is another stepping stone for establishing him as one of the best boxers not only at light middleweight but p4p in the world. for cotto its a big payday and the chance, would he win coming closer at another shot @154 against Floyd or Pac, where while pac is getting way past his prime and mayweather losing between 4-5 rounds vs cotto he realy would have a chance beating one or both of them.

Cotto has and will never be a stepping stone. Wtf are you talking about? ATG in Floyd and Pacman had trouble with him yet you expect Canelo to beat him easy? :nut

This is what's wrong with boxing. You get your ass kicked. In this case Cotto by Mayweather, and you get another big fight. Meanwhile. There is some boxer who is deserving (take note I did not say more deserving, just deserving) boxer who gets the shaft. Kirrkland, Lara, Trout even Molina should be considred for Alvarez not Cotto Now that Ortiz is out.

you serious? Casuals dont know who the hel those guys are. Cotto is not fighting Canelo and Cotto would be the one doing Canelo the favor.
