Don't fear Ortiz fans... There is still fights for young Vic. Berto II is still there, "Bam Bam" Rios is there.
Shouldn't be funny but is. Part of me says yeah, and the other part says Berto is a cheat that doesn't deserve such a great opportunity.
**** all that. How can anyone still be a Ortiz fan? I gave him another chance after that horrible quit job vs Maidana. I became a bigger fan after Berto and Floyd. Now he quits again. I'm never defending or rooting for this kid again.
He'll beat Berto any day of the week, but unlike the Maidana fight. He'll never ever make us fans forget this or his mentality again.
Ortiz should not fight again for a while, next year even. Berto without steroids is going to be nothing. He was not that good with them.
The Berto fight is old news now. There is a rematch clause for Lopez and that is the fight to be made. One thing Ortiz has that people are missing here. Can't miss TV. Everytime this guy fights there is drama, and the networks love that, and so do the viewers. It causes shitloads of buzz and it makes him marketable, like it or not. All you guys pitching a ***** about him quitting will be right there watching his next fight to see what happens.
Of course I will the 1st was a great fight. Doesn't change thr fact he mentally folds when the pressure gets too tough.
