Victor Ortiz should go train with Freddie Roach, his team seem like A**holes!

    Some people have mentioned that his team were opting for him to continue the fight, and wasn't happy when he said he couldn't. The Garcia brother seems a bit clueless IMO, and that hoss boss seems like a know it all, and Ortiz's manager seems like a sly snake too. I don't like his team, I really think he should go train with Freddie Roach. Ortiz has already mentioned in the past that he loves the Wild Card crew, Freddie and Pacquiao, and him and Khan have been friendly to each other in recent years.

    What do you think?

    roach is perfect for ortiz but i doubt he has time for ortiz

    His corner did the right thing and tried to make him continue but quitor ortreez was intent on quiting which was a shame.

    his team is alright...i think they just wanted badder than him imo


    he only had 3 rds to go and he was up on the cards

    Anyone but Emmanuel Steward...
    I'd like to see what a N. Richardson can do but...
    (not sure he works with anyone who ain't Ummmm..)

    There is plenty of coaches out there.
    But I agree the Garcia style ain't for a fighter like Ortiz.

    Nazim Richardson will do wonders for his confidence.

    I do agree his team did show a lack of humanity last night though.

    Roach isn't a heart surgeon.

    That being said his corner is **** and have been for a while, he looked a lot better under Robert Garcia when Robert had him fightng as a boxer more than a come forward pressure fighter with no defense.

    Not trying to prove that Freddie and team wild have this amazing bond with Victor or anything remotely close, but they have mutual respect for each other and it would be awesome to see them all together.

    Things happen quick in between rounds, and it seemed like some confusion in his corner, but I do think they should have had the DR look at his mouth at least before making any decisions about him trying to continue, they are supposed to protect their fighter, after all they actually work for him and get paid from his purse.

    But at least he shows compassion, and has actually been in the ring as a fighter. As opposed to Danny Garcia, who is a Coke cola truck driver.
