And I'm gonna start saying I feel sorry for Ortiz. He was hurt, I had a broken jaw before and it hurts, what Abraham did against Miranda was out of this world,Ortiz is a professional boxer ,with his flaws like anybody else. But that kid trains and dedicates himself to the sport like a pro and I respect that.If I made fun of him last night it's time to apologize now.
Josesito surprised me,I never imagine he will put such a performance. He came as a heavy underdog and proved himself in the ring.
If Mexican fighters could change a bit their mentalities I think they could be unbeatables, they are so ****ing tough and their chins made out of steel but they refuse to box ,anything short of brawling they label it like " slick"... Then by 30 yrs old they wore down from so many wars.Exeption made for JMM .
Only those who box and get hit the less are th ones going further.Look at Hopkins ,Martinez ,the klits. Seriously, I'm not starting a controversy here.

I don't like Ortiz, I've never had a broken jaw. I imagan it hurts a lot.
I think a great majorty of boxers in Ortiz's poistion would have also quit. I think when guys like Ali and Abraham fight through a broken jaw it's an amazing feet. However quiting because of one dose not show a lack of charactor or toughnes. Like I said I don't like Ortiz. However I will not hold this against him. Espicialy since he probbly fought for 7 or 8 rounds with it.

Kid Cubano is a glass Jawed Cuban? never would have imagined :yep

On a serious note, ****ing Lopez has always shown he has great boxing ability and mother****er is tougher then nails!.... Good fight, he showed tremendous heart and the ability to stare at adversity and say bring it on mother****er and push forward like a warrior, he won over that Mexican crowd, and Ortiz failed again at staples... he had no real Game plan but to catch Lopez hard and finish him.. nothing else.

Lopez had a gameplan and did it well, pushed Ortiz back like if it was khan backing up, Ortiz always suck going backwards and LOPEZ took full advanatge of that, Ortiz is a come forward guy who hates to be pressured, signs of being Mentally weak unfortunately.. but no diss toward ortiz, it takes balls to be in boxing and some are stronger then others regardless of athletic abilities... One good thing about ORtiz is he doesn't know how not to be in an exciting fight.

GOod night... and Soto getting KOD in an exciting match was amazing stuff. New face came at that night. :good

Lol , yep , I got clocked once in a brawl at 19yrs old , still don't know what hit me. I could swear was Tyson .
Soto didn't surprise me, I could've bank the house on that one.Matthysse is underrated and soto was tailor made for him.
Ortiz showed a lot of heart on Berto 1. Then he ****ed up against Floyd.
I had Ortiz ahead last night by 2 points. It broke my heart seen him in the dressing room after the fight. He knew that he blew his career.
