Ortiz is a great fighter, but hes reminds me of Judah in terms of getting broken down Mentally against someone who doesn't give up and fights back the full 12 rounds.

It doesn't make him any more or less of a man. Being sensible and more concerned about your health and more liable to quit makes you less of a fighter, boxing is not exactly a "sensible" sport. Look at a lot of the examples of gutsiest fighters and performances. Fighting with broken jaws, noses, hands, bad cuts, etc...is not really "sensible". You have to be a little bit crazy to do that.
I don't think Ortiz has no heart. He was just very unlucky last night. Still though, I had to press no as Victor didn't lose respect but AA earned it that night and yes Ortiz does have the heart of a fighter, you don't get as far as he has otherwise.

how many fighters have continued fighting with a broken jaw? wayyyyyy too many to name, in lower profile fights than this one and fights that would have been less damaging to their reps to quit in. Ortiz was heavy fave and has a history of trying to find a way out, before the injury he was looking for ways out by blatantly fouling for the 2nd straight fight! He's a dirty muther****er and a quitter. If this was the first time he gets a pass but it was not only the 3rd time in recent years that he quit (he has a history of quitting in the ams too) but it was the 2nd straight fight he used blatant fouls to try and get out of the fight when he wasn't able to impose his will. **** Ortiz, I can't support that guy, he shoulda went out on his shield after his history of quitting, a loss going out on his shield would have done him the world of good. And who's gonna pay his medical bills? how be he use some of the few million dollars he's made fighting? Don't feel sorry for this millionaire you sensitive little girls. He doesn't have the heart of a top tier fighter.....he's given us numerous examples of quitting, it's time we call a spade a spade.
Nobody forced him to go through that pain and risk with the broken jaw. They can tell him to go on, but the fighter always has the option of surrendering. Look at Tyson-Golota.
