Ok let me be real with you;

He actually broke 3 major stories, Berto, Peterson and Tarver.

He has had a history of bashing PBF for years prior to all the abuse allegations.

I never believed PBF was into the testing game because he wanted to clean up the sport but rather he did think Pac was on something (cleaning up the sport was a good tag or add on). I think Pac is clean BUT it is during these type of mega fights that the sports has gone through most of its transformations. If PBF did not bring PEDS into the spot light I believe none of these current cases would have ever came to light.

If someone HATES FLOYD for years would it not make sense if he had something that he would have came out with a full story with full disclosure?

If a writer hates a fighter, gains credibility on PEDS, and then insinuates something against said fighter about peds without any real evidence. Then this can easily be construed as a personal vendetta against that fighter.

Any Journalist with any type of integrity will get his facts straight before reporting on whispers in the dark. Personally, I cannot give him a pass for his personal hatred against PBF because it lays into question everything he says and does in regards to him.

Gabe, as a journalist has to be held at a higher standard, his words can impact the hearts and minds of people who consider him an expert. If he has any type of proof it is up to him to bring it into the light. His mere allegations of wrong doing can have severe damage on a fighter's career and he must act beyond reproach when dealing with this responsibility.

 

I hear what your saying but remove Floyd from it, this is about Boxing, and if there is some shady **** going on behind the scenes especially in which that some may be on the receiving end of favorable testing methods that should be exposed.

and we as fans of the sport should embrace that no matter who is involved we should always put the sport and the safety of these guys first. Regardless weather or not he goes out of his way to hate on someone if that person in question is up to no good let the story break and when it does one of two things will take place.

Either he will fall on his face or expose just how deep the rabbit hole goes, my problem is your all attacking him stating this is an attack on Floyd when in reality what I see is someone trying to shed light on the dark side of this sport and we have an obligation to embrace that

in addition Floyds statements regarding Pacquiao you all took that at face value and ran with it, if Gabe was making this **** up a law suite would have already been filed there is a reason that hasnt happened and I think that is because if they do file they must disclose everything

Yes, take PBF out of the equation! that is what I am saying, if this were Pac I would be saying the exact same thing. But he does not have a hate on for Pac, he has a hate on for PBF. That leads to all of his actions being suspicious, especially since if he had the goods on the guy he would have laid all his cards on the table from the beginning. However, since he did not, and that he has gained a certain level of notoriety in Peds reporting it leads people to wonder the true nature of his article. Its like FOx news reporting on Obama or MSNBC reporting on Romney . . . you always have to be conscious of your source.

I suspect that he does not have any real evidence on PBF but thought if he threw it out there he could do some damage and hide behind freedom of speech. The actions taken by Golden Boy was rightfully taken because he has no proof. A journalist should not report on whispers and shadows, they have to report on facts (backed by evidence). everything else can and should be questioned, especially if you have had a proven track record of hatred towards the subject in question

I do not think he had anything on Mayweather I think he had something on GBP that would expose a contract between GBP and USADA. Floyd just happens to fight under GBP which is why I think everybody started to jump on Gabe they automatically assumed this was directly about Floyd when it sounds like its about GBP and USADA
I hope he continues to research this and expose it

I may be hard on Mayweather, but he makes it easy to criticize him sometimes.

Funny thing is, my hatred goes towards his fanboys and the revisionist **** they produce 99% of the time. NOT kissing Floyd's ass is pretty much considered hating.
