Top fighters that were retired by top fighters of the next generation

I'm trying to compile a list. Lennox Lewis being prematurely retired by Vitali is always a really easy one, but I need more boxers. Who were all time greats that were dominated/beaten down into retirement by a fighter who then turned great too?

 

So many sad losers on this forum with sad agenda's.

 

This isn't a discussion about Vitali dominating Lewis and making him retire. I've already one every single argument against every Lewis fanboy/Klitschko hater on the subject. Vitali Klitschko is up 4-2 on the judges scorecards and most people watching the fight, Vitali is stopped by the doctor while almost KO'ing Lewis 2x, Vitali would have KO'd Lewis in the late rounds like he does to everyone, the fight is over and the crowd cheers Vitali while before the fight they were jeering him.

Then, the rematch was discussed which would have been Lennox's highest payday. Lennox refuses the rematch, the main part of this story, because he knew he would lose and not get lucky again. The fact that Lewis refused the rematch really refutes any validity in his dramatic win. This thread is for people who already understand these simple facts and want to add more fighters to the list.

 

There's a difference between winning on an injury and winning by decision/Ko'ing/making your opponent unresponsive or defenseless.
