    It would be a bold move but this is the fight to prove that he deserves to be a big star. I don't think they will tho

    No and not because he isnt a draw but because Lara would tap that ass. No way they give Alvarez a high risk no reward fight after what just happened with Ortiz ,way too many business men in boxing and not enough fighters out there anymore.Boxing should be more about the best fighting the best like it use to.

    I suspect Canelo-Ortiz was made with the intention of the winner getting Mayweather in May next year. Canelo-Guerrero anyone? lol

    Lara isn't all that good tbh. If you look past his spectacular knockout I think this is a game matchup where Canelo is favoured.

    There is one boxer who is REALLY deserving at a shot and it's molina. He has been robbed more times then anyone else.

    Trout is decent, but untested. He stunk the joint out in his fight with Rodriguez, and he is completely unknown outside hardcore fans. Certainly not a PPV headliner, although I could see him giving Canelo problems.
