Why so smug? I guess everyone already knows Manny is cheating that's why it wasn't big news when you asked him. I stand corrected...I think.

It's more that if you're taking substances for strength or endurance, you're going to be wanting to take them while you are training. I can't see what benefit something like steroids would have taking it two weeks before a fight where you are winding down the training - they're all about helping to train harder and recover quicker than usual.

Perhaps something like EPO would be useful for fight night stamina if taken close to the fight, but even then you would want to be using that while training to maximise the amount of time you can spend training.

I'm not sure what else you could take within those two weeks for a benefit in a fight - perhaps a stimulant or pain killer or something, but even then (unless your name is Chavez Jr) you're going to have to take your fight night drug test.

I agree that it's no reason not to test right up to the fight, but we have no proof or real reason to believe there is something in pen and ink to stop stop testing two weeks from the fight. It's most likely that there is a lack of testing in those periods because the likelihood that someone would be cheating at that point is very minimal.

Just like to point out again that Gabby Montoya is a Butthurt little ****** who has a clear agenda to make VADA look good and both Floyd and USADA look bad. He uses lies and gay rumours to achieve this.

I understand he got humiliated and emasculated by Floyd in public and that motivates him on that front. It's the ******ed USADA lies I don't get. I just hope he's getting paid by VADA for all the lying he does to make them look better.

    Also, he's a ******.

Floyd usada testing did not stop 2 weeks before the fight. Usada subjects their athletes to both urine and blood testing. Mayweather was urine tested several days before the fight.

And unless I'm mistaken it was a urine sample that brought up Peterson positive sample.

If you're stupid, you'd have missed the point. Which you have.

Floyd's "demands" came at the exact time he was asked to fight Pac. No mention of them before at any time. No evidence either. Completely unfounded and it IS commendable that Pac would refuse to be drawn into that for no reason.

Floyd Sr out and out said Pac was on the juice. No space for mistaking it.

It IS Floyd's fault the fight never happened. It was right there, Manny was willing to submit to testing within Floyd's preferred timescale and then he changed the finish line to get out of the fight again.

So it's commendable for one of the sports biggest fighters to refuse to take extra drug testing, the same drug testing his opponent will take to ensure a fair level playing field for both fighters. Funny how a devote catholic like Pac would deny such a request. Very Christian of him to do so.

Yet he would happily put in a 10 million per pound over weight stipulation in the contract, which by the way floyd happily agreed to.
