He's not giving people much of a choice. ;)

With heavyweights, I think it's important to acknowledge that there is no divisions to climb or fighters to chase. There is only what is there, in their own time. So long as they fulfill their obligation to meet the top rated opposition, they earn their place in the pantheon. From that point, you can debate the quality of it. Wladimir has pretty much done that since 2006. These days, half the top ten is declining to fight him. I also tend to value title reigns more with HWs.

I think Senor Pepe has said he believes that Ali-liston I & II were both fixed, that Ali cheated Foreman, and won rigged fights against young and Norton. He might not give him the second Frazier fight either. I don't agree with all that, but if you did I can see Ali dipping out of the top 5.

    1. Ali
    2. Louis
    3. Johnson

    5. Holmes
    6. Lewis
    7. Marciano
    8. Frazier

I'd say mines a pretty solid list, you could argue Johnson may be a little high and Marciano could be higher up but apart from that, I haven't had many disagreements with it.

    It's refreshing. :yep

tommy is a good poster and will have an explanation for this. I'd rather see Holmes and Holyfield there than Dempsey any day of the week.

that Tommy guy is trolling. He doesn't have Jimmy Young as his number one, so he must be. He's not as good as TommyV.

HW Champs who beat or drew with every fighter they faced at least once-

Tunney, Marciano, Bowe, and Lewis... they combine for 4 losses, 5 draws, and over 200 wins

Povetkin is undefeated but not considered the true HW Champ.
